Pulsed magnetic waves are delivered in pre-programmed sequences which are designed to stimulate or “exercise” ion activity in neurons and supporting cells of the neural network.

Very low power is required since the pulsed field is operating at or near the natural resonance or frequency range of naturally occurring electrical activity in the body.

A microprocessor is used to store waveform data and to deliver pulsed magnetic waves in pulse patterns which change over the course of the timed treatment. The MT is designed to produce a uniform time-varying magnetic field over an area approximately 3.5 in. x 10 in. The MT is similar in configuration to a commonly used blood pressure monitoring cuff.

A key chain infrared remote control is used to to turn the device on and off.
